Coaching using
the tool of the labyrinth is very adaptive to life. The many paths we take
in life can represent our direction, mission or purposes evolving. The twists
and turns can relate the continual growth our life is all about and the
directions we shift and change to find ourselves in. There are metaphors
that can help us see the patterns we fall into and the divisions of structure
that assist us in seeing the boundaries and outlines of our lives. There
is much to learn about the labyrinth and much to learn and grow into our
selves.

There
are three methods of Labyrinth Coaching availalable through Labyrinth Lessons.
Each is a different level of learning and pace. One may begin at one interest
area and choose to move up to a different experience. The areas are divided
to provide the maximum opportunity for what individuals may be looking for.
We are all on the same path of life, though each is on an individual journey
and the degree of readiness and exploration. One moves according to their
value and desire to transition and change and that is to be respected.
Educational Coaching is about learning the values of the labyrinth. In structure and design it can teach us much and when used in this way creates a familiarity to embrace what the labyrinth offers. In life we want to feel secure and trust the relationships we create. Building a trust with an understanding of the nature through its history, purpose, evolution, styles and design, useage, structure, and benefits can be fascinating as a participant begins to grasp the familiarity and see the similarities that unfold. How the educational coaching of the labyrinth may be helpful:
Stress Relief Building Trust Learning to Release Identifying Strengths Establishing Boundaries Creating Effective use of Time Making Positive Transitions Adapting to Effective Choices Creating Better Perspectives Choosing Proactive Steps Setting Positive Goals and Markers Remembering what is Positive Becoming More Focused Defining Purpose Discovering Peaceful Methods Creating a Global Perspective Building Relationships ...and more In this method of coaching, the pace quickens and the focus is on creating more awareness, effective choices and the development of the mind in cognition and emotion and its relationship to the labyrinth. Attending to the internal messages and equating the external results to create a healthy and happier balance is a key to life development. When we can have a healthy awareness, we can make choices that are more efficient and effective for who we are and what we wish to accomplish. The labyrinth has an interesting way of allowing us to find that inner importance and exacting an outer mission in relation, the coaching guides participants to recall their strenghts and abilities so they may embrace the internal and more joyfully produce a better external result. There is an appreciation and an understanding of the whole being so that individual participants learn to move more in balance and harmony.
Ideas that are developed in this method of coaching may include:
Heightened Awareness Developing Positive behaviors Creating Healthy Release Methods Relieving Stress Refreshing Attitudes Recieving as a part of giving Developing Positive Belief Systems Learning the Value of Commitment Reframing, Repurposing and Redirecting Creating Conscious Choices Instilling creative solutions Developing healthy breathing/meditation Discovering personal strenths Remembering values and purpose Creating a united Mind, Body & Soul Creating Balance and Harmony Developing Healthier Patterns ...and more Leadership Coaching with the Labyrinth is more challenge oriented and suited for the individual who leads others and wants to create healthier and happier movement aligned with their purpose and passion in life. This is a quicker paced program and present with a high degree of results oriented activity. Leadership is often mistaken for the person in charge, or the one with the most seniority or credentials. Leadership is more simple in nature and more powerful than that. It is about the indivdiual leadership within us all. It asks the question moment by moment about what we are putting into and taking away in this opportunity of our life.
